BARGAIN DAY COUNTDOWN

Not long now until Saturday 9th May, and the ever-popular annual URC Bargain Day.

In the morning, from 10am to 12 noon, take the opportunity to stock up with plants for the garden and holiday reading at the Plant & Book Sale on the forecourt.  Many quality items available!

From 11am there is advanced viewing of the Auction lots in the hall.  With household goods and collectibles, there is bound to be something that takes your interest.  Official viewing, with the catalogue, is from 1.15pm with the Auction itself beginning at 2.15pm.  A catalogue and bidding number cost just £1 but entrance to both events is FREE.

If you have any plants, books or auction items to donate please bring them to the Church between 6pm and 8pm on Friday 8th May, or ring Richard Piper on 01895 634348 if you need them picked up, or have any questions about the event.  If you would like us to auction something on your behalf, we can do so on a commission basis.  For this, please talk to Henry Gardner on 01895 674074.

We were astounded by how generously you gave towards our recent jumble sale: please look around again, in your house, loft or garage, for anything saleable that you no longer need.  It will help once again to make this a great event, raising money for the church and this year’s good causes - RNIB, Crossroads, AICR Spotlight Appeal and Hope for Justice.

See you on the day!

Richard Piper
