Our circle is made
up of mums in the Ickenham area with children ranging from 3 months to 13
years. We work on a token basis - so no money changes hands. We sit for others
within the group.
1 hour = 1 token
2 tokens after
midnight
20 tokens starts you
off
You and your partner
get to have evenings out with friends and your children are looked after in
their own home whilst 'experienced mums' sit for you. If you have an evening
available then you sit for others in the circle.

ICKENHAM AFTERNOON
TOWNSWOMEN‰S GUILD
On 29th August the Ickenham Afternoon Townswomen‰s Guild Music Group, held a Garden Party, instead of the usual monthly meeting, at the home of one of our members in aid of MacMillan Nurses and Marie Curie Nurses.
Each Music Group member invited one friend and about forty people attended. We started with a wonderful buffet meal, prepared by two members, and then guests were able to visit the ëWhite Elephant stall‰, ëTombola‰, ëGuess the Weight of the Cake‰, number of ëSweets in the Jar‰ and ëName the Doll‰. We had a ëNearly New Book Stall‰, ëKiller Darts‰ and a raffle - the prizes for which were supplied by members.
All of this was followed by delicious scones, jam and cream. Everyone had a wonderful afternoon and the weather kept fine for us. A grand total of £500 was raised, and split evenly between the aforementioned charities.
