One hundred and fifty children, one hundred and eighty helpers, forty activities, twelve venues, two churches and one aim. All this added up to a fantastic Holiday Club and a fitting way to celebrate 40 years of this very special event. During the week, the tireless Anne Whitlam and her enthusiastic team led the children of Ickenham through a series of adventures, sport and craft skills that we will recall with affection and appreciation. And all the time, we remembered to thank God for the gift of life and the ability to enjoy it. He smiled on us with perfect weather when it was needed and with the joy of celebrating together.
