THANKS TO ALL
The start of the ICN year is a good time to thank David Bolton (see article above) and all our other advertisers for the support they give us. We wish them all a busy and successful 2012.
Thanks too, to the clubs, societies and individuals who make donations towards our running costs. Together you make it possible for us to continue to produce and deliver the magazine to every address in Ickenham.
This month, receipt is acknowledged, with grateful thanks, for donations from:
Mrs D E Wilman of Fleet; Mrs Chapman via Pauline Shelborn; Anon via Maggie Farrow-Smith; Kenton Light Opera Society; Valerie Lane of Lincoln
Copy for the March issue of ICN should be with the team by 12 noon on 13th February.
KEN MACGREGOR
We deeply regret the recent death of Ken Macgregor who did so much to introduce and maintain the extremely successful Neighbourhood Watch movement within Hillingdon Borough and Ickenham in particular. He will be much missed.
BREAKSPEAR SCHOOL AT 75
Did you go to Breakspear School, as a pupil or as a member of staff? Then get involved this May, when the school celebrates its 75th Birthday!
Two events are being planned. Pupils who left the school, aged 11, anytime from the Millenium onwards, are warmly invited to come along to the Annual Parents’ Association Summer Fete on Saturday 19th May. For those who left, aged 11, earlier than that, a late afternoon / early evening event will be held on Wednesday 30th May. Come along, and meet up with fellow pupils and staff.
Updated details will appear on the school website: www.breakspear.hillingdon.sch.uk.
